The Dept. of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Hamburg, Germany, is hiring a PhD student. The anticipated starting date is May 2023, but the exact date can be defined individually. The project is embedded in a EU consortium that focuses on optimizing the therapy of ceftazidime/avibactam and fosfomycin against Enterobacterales (JPIAMR - CAVIFOS, https://www.jpiamr.eu/projects/cavifos/). The PhD project will involve pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic studies in the hollow-fiber infection model as well as pharmacometric modelling and development of model-informed precision dosing tools to translate the findings into a clinical perspective.
Candidates should have an interest in pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics and data sciences. Skills in pharmacometric modelling are helpful, but not mandatory.
The application can be submitted here (https://www.uni-hamburg.de/stellenangebote/ausschreibung.html?jobID=b0c1c1cfba91de9237a14bb09ddbbabd928d4695). For further information contact Prof. Sebastian Wicha (sebastian.wicha@uni-hamburg.de).

Best wishes,
