The project is embedded in a EU consortium that focuses on optimizing the therapy of ceftazidime/avibactam and fosfomycin against Enterobacterales (JPIAMR - CAVIFOS, https://www.jpiamr.eu/projects/cavifos/). The PhD project will involve pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic studies in the hollow-fiber infection model as well as pharmacometric modelling and development of model-informed precision dosing tools to translate the findings into a clinical perspective.
Candidates should have an interest in pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics and data sciences. Skills in pharmacometric modelling are helpful, but not mandatory.
