We are pleased to have a few announcements.
 
Meeting at the International Congress of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ICC)
A reminder that ISAP is having a hybrid meeting in conjunction to the ICC that will be held in Perth, Australia. Due to the logistic limitations at the convention centre, we cannot find an appropriate time to accommodate members from Europe. Expansion of Council: Clinical and Industry Representatives
ISAP plans to expand its council to include clinical and industry representatives. Please reach out to Jian (jian.li@monash.edu) if you oppose to the expansion by 16th December 2022.

Positions available:
(1) A postdoc position is available

(2) Postdoctoral position at Bayer AG
A postdoctoral placement in an industrial environment in Bayer facilities (Frankfurt, Germany) is available starting in 12/2023.
2 mandatory prerequisites to be eligible for the program:
a) Australian or New Zealand citizenship
b) PhD thesis in relevant field being submitted latest Oct 2023
Respective applications, consisting of cover letter, curriculum vitae and a scientific dossier covering their synthetic / biochemical topics from Bachelor-, Master-, PhD-work (maximum 5 pages in total), are to be sent to grdcbayerpostdoc@bayer.com by 15th February 2023 in order to allow time for preparation of interviews.
 
Future conferences:
Antimicrobial Chemotherapy Conference 2023 will be held on 1-2 February 2023. This conference is co-organized by GARDP and the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (BSAC) in collaboration with ReAct Africa and Africa CDC.

Call for new Mentees for the ISAP Mentoring Program 2023 is open now!
We are pleased to announce that the ISAP Mentoring program is going into the second round. Don’t miss the chance to join and discuss your personal, scientific and career questions with international senior scientists. The mentoring program will start in January/February 2023, will last 1 year and you will get a certificate that you attended the ISAP Mentoring program. The program is coordinated by Alina Nussbaumer-Pröll (Vienna, Austria). All Young Investigators are welcome to join, thus please contact Alina (alina.nussbaumer-proell@meduniwien.ac.at)
