4th International Conference on Polymyxins
Join us to delve into the latest advancements across all major facets of the polymyxin class of antibiotics. Polymyxins are a last-line therapeutic option for treating life-threatening infections caused by Gram-negative 'superbugs,' including the WHO priority pathogens Acinetobacter baumannii, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Since the 3rd International Conference on Polymyxins in 2018 (Madrid, Spain), significant progress has been made in the clinical use and pharmacology of polymyxins, particularly the first scientifically-based dosing recommendations, understanding the mode of action, and addressing the challenges of the resistance and toxicity. Our conference will feature cutting-edge presentations by globally renowned clinicians and scientists.
